19-year-old Ofa Moce is a surprise inclusion in the squad. The former player of the under-20 squad caught the eye of Mike Whippy and the other selectors with her performances at Suva Grammar School, in the Sprite Light Secondary Schools Basketball League. Being selected for national team is her biggest sporting achievement until now. She’s a solid defender and she’s able to help the team on short sequences. But her first task will be to learn and continue to progress.
