Career: Club Atletico Lanus (Argentina, 2000-02), Acis Marcaleon (Spain–LF2, 2002-04), Club Atletico Lanus (Argentina-Liga A, 2004-05), Club Atletico Lanus (Argentina-Liga Nacional, 2005-08).
Gimena is the youngest of the Landra sisters. She was injured and didn’t play at the Pan American Games last year but made it back in time for the FIBA Americas Championship. The native of Viale was the team’s best rebounder with an average of 7.8 per game, and the second leading scorer at 9.4 points per contest. That was a spectacular increase after a lesser role at the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Brazil. Landra is a complete center with good skills on both offence and defence, although at times she does not make the best decisions on the floor. On the club scene, she returned to Lanus in 2004 after playing two years abroad in Spain’s second division.
