Career: Club Atletico Velez Sarsfield (Argentina-Liga Nacional, 1997-99), Club Union Florida (Argentina-Liga Nacional, 2000-01), Velez Sarsfield (Argentina-Liga A, 2001-05), Velez Sarsfield (Argentina-Liga Nacional, 2005-08).
Paula plays at 100 miles per hour and is arguably the best defensive player in the Argentinian squad. A guard/forward at Velez Sarsfield where she has spent most of career, Paula does have limitations on offence with her biggest weapon a long-range jump shot. A bundle of energy, she is usually the first player off the bench for Eduardo Pinto, especially when he needs to spark his team into life. In Argentina’s most important game last year, she played 34 minutes in an overtime win against Chile that clinched a spot in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament. She also has a lot of experience in the Argentina squad, having played at the 1998 and 2006 FIBA World Championships.
